These are compatible batteries, and the level indicator is bright and easy to read. Quality of the construction appears robust. However, as is almost inevitably the case with cheap equivalent batteries - the capacity is not as advertised.I ran a battery capacity test, from fully charged (about 20V) down to 12.5V (the minimum safe voltage you should discharge a 5 cell Li-Ion pack) at a drain rate of 2.75A and got the following capacity results:52.1 Wh (compared to 99.0 Wh stated on battery)2.87 Wh (compared to 5.50 Wh stated on battery)So that's just over 50% of the stated capacity. I guess it's for you to decide whether that's good value for money.Given that you could buy a pack of 4 of these batteries for not much more than price of a genuine Makita 5Ah battery, you probably are getting enough capacity to justify the price. The only question then is whether they will be as robust and long lasting as the genuine item. Only time will tell...
ℹ️ Makita Compatible Batteries - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️These 18V 5.0Ah Lithium-ion Makita compatible batteries are well manufactured. The batteries perform just the same as my genuine batteries. They charge perfectly with my genuine original Makita charger. The batteries have a fitted LCD display, this tells you instantly the remaining charge left in the battery.I will keep the review updated with how well the batteries perform overtime, but so far I'm more than happy.
Rated at 5ah these batteries represent much better value than OE allowing you to put the saving towards more tools.A perfect fit for the popular Makita BrandI have always used pattern batteries and have never encountered any problems, they work exactly the same at a fraction of the cost allowing you to operate more tools without constantly swapping batteries. You will find these to work as intended.
